Introduction
This is a fictional book project about an old man with arthritis for a high school health class with a target audience for children ages 10 and up.
What should be known about arthritis is that it happens very commonly among the elderly and is treatable. If you know anyone with arthritis help them out.
The day is cloudy and under such weather is John, who has started to feel pain in his knees.

John is a stressed office worker who eats junk food, spends hours sitting down working, and never exercises.

He spends his time every second of an hour on work that he does not enjoy. Those hours became days and those days became weeks.

Eventually those weeks became years and one day John noticed pain in his joints.

My elbows and knees hurt.

At first he ignored it and kept working, but after a few weeks the pain became hard to ignore.

Walking home used to be a simple task but it had become a struggle.

Why does it hurt to walk?
Getting out of bed was never fun, but it now became painful.
Ow I am in crippling pain.

This noticeable change has prompted John to go find help.
My joints are so stiff and I can barely move

John, struggling, walks through the streets of West Linn Oregon to find the closest hospital to treat him.
After the most grueling walk he has had his whole life, John made it to the hospital.

John got a doctor who has diagnosed him with Arthritis, a skeletal system disease where his joints are swollen and tender.

After the diagnosis John was given medications and physical therapy as well as several future appointments.
