Fried Egg Jellyfish

The primary
prey of the Fried Egg Jellyfish is zooplankton and other jellyfish.

Fried Egg Jellyfish only live for about half a year, from summer to winter.
The base color of the flamboyant cuttlefish is dark brown with some yellow and purple spots around the arms. However, their skin contains chromatophores, or specialized pigment cells that can change the color of the skin.
When threatened, the flamboyant cuttlefish is able to release a cloud of ink to confuse predators and safely escape from danger.



Basking sharks are the second largest fish in the ocean, growing to a maximum length of 45 feet and weight of 10,000 pounds!

Basking sharks have massive livers that make up 25 percent of their body weight.
They are particularly adept at following fishing vessels and preying on dead fish and/or invertebrates that the boats discard.
