Hi, I'm Kate, and I'm in my living room watching a cartoon I love animals and I hope I get one someday.

Me and my mom went on a walk to the park it is beautiful all the colors said Mom. I was not paying attention I was looking at the animals watching them play I saw a gray stray cat and my mom called me and said oh yeah it's pretty.

When we got home I said to myself I hope that kitten does not get found by the pound. then someone knocked on the door it was the pound lady with the small gray baby kitten I saw AT THE PARK!!! she said to Mom is this your stray Mom said no I walked downstairs and the lady was gone I said to Mom we need to follow that truck but why asked Mom I said because I want to get the kitten before anyone else. Honey I cant that would be good if you want a kitten ill get you one. no Mom I want that one.

 I looked out the window and saw the kitten escape from the pound truck it was in the road I ran to the door as fast as I could and opened it and ran to get her, cars were coming I do not want her to get hit. Mom said wait honey I ignored her and got the kitten before the car.

 I brought the kitten in then mom came in she said honey you can not just run away like that i had to. leave my room please. i touched her fur she looked like an oreo. i think i am going to name you oreo because you look like one. then i put her on my bed she ran under the bed i looked under the bed she was under there i said come here kitten please. then i got some cat milk and put it in a bowl and hopped on my bed and read my book then i looked under i saw her asleep.

Then i put the kitten in a small blanket that was black. then i fell asleep to. Then i woke up 2 hours later and the kitten was on my bed and her milk was gone she drank it!! she   rubbed on me.
