One day, a little boy named Jack was walking home from school with his mother and a snack in his hand.

Halfway back home, Jack finished his snack and dropped the wrapper on the ground. His mother picked it up and said, “Have you ever heard of the creation story?”. “No”, Jack replied. His mother said, “Alright, let me tell you about it.”

The creation story is about God and how he created the earth. Jack interrupted, "Really, must have taken years to make earth". "Actually, it only took 7 days", his mother replied.

On the first day, God created light. 

He called the light "day" and the darkness "night".

On the second day, God created the sky, land, and seas. 

On the third day, God created vegetation for the plants and the trees.

On the fourth day, God created the sun, moon, and stars.

On the fifth day, God created creatures for the sea and birds for the sky.

On the sixth day, God created land creatures along with a man and woman named Adam and Eve.

On the seventh day, God saw that everything was good so he blessed the day and he rested from all his work.

Jack looked up as his mother and said, "What a beautiful earth God created, there are so many sights to see and places to go". "I agree" his mother replied.
