One day Princess Penelope was minding her business at the castle when a strange visitor entered the throne room.
"And who are you?" Princess Penelope asked the man in the red trenchcoat.
"My name is monsieur Whiskers. I come from the kingdom of Treasures." He gave a little bow to the princess.
"Alright. Go about your business, good sir." Princess Penelope dismissed him with a wave of her hand.
The sneaky man scurried up the grand castle stairs, and into a hallway marked Forbidden to non-royals. Guards stood outside a thick wood door.
"No tresspassing." One boomed.
"I am a royal from the kingdom of treasures. I have urgent business in this room." He showed the guards a shiny badge.
"You may pass." The guards unlocked the large door and let Monsieur Whiskers in.
He quickly grabbed the large book on a shiny pedestal and slipped it in his coat. Then he left the castle, saluting the guards as he went.

Forbidden Room

OH MY!

The next day the princess was checking the rooms of the castle when she passed by the forbidden room. The doors were wide open and the guards were asleep!
"Guards! Wakeup! The book of copyright is gone!" The guards stood up fast and ran into the room. "What am I going to do?" The princess fled to her bedroom to think up a plan.
After fleeing to her room, Princess Penelope decided that her best option for finding the book was to go on a trip. So she packed her bags and called her private pilot to meet her at the runway. She was going to find the book and its definitions no matter what it took.

The first place the princess went, was the beach. Perhaps the book ended up there. But when she and her crew arrived, all she found was a big boat. She decided to ask the captain if he had seen a book of copyright definitions.
"Excuse me, sir!" She called to the boat.
"Yes?" The man treaded to shore.
"Have you seen a thick green book with copyright definitions?"
"No, but we caught something you may want to see." He went back to the ship, and then came back to the princess with a large fishing net. She pulled the contents out.

Copyright- Basically whatever an author-created, cannot be used by anyone unless the author has given them permission.

We found it early this morning.

Penelope was confused. This wasn't the book, it was only one definition. Where are the other definitions? She stashed the definition in her satchel.
Her determination to find the definitions and restore peace in the kingdom made Penelope want to find the definitions now more than ever.
"Thank you!" She gave the sailor a bag of gold and climbed in her jet to leave.
"Try the forest next!" He shouted to her as she sat in her seat.
SO the princess and her staff flew to the jungle. She climbed out of the jet and instantly knew something was up.
"Hey uh, guys?" She turned around to her staff.
"Yes, Princess?" They responded.
"Stay close please." She slowly crept through the trees.
It was misty, and the fog settled at their heads. Then A monkey was angrily approaching the group. He held the next definition in his hand. The princess grabbed it and ran back to her jet and put it in her satchel

It was getting late, so the princess decided to return to her village. Then a little girl ran up to her.
"Excuse me, princess,?" She tugged at Penelope's skirt.
"Yes?" Penelope inquired.
"I heard you were looking for the definitions of the kingdom. I think I could help you." She smiled and posed triumphantly.
"Sorry I don't need your help." The princess started to leave when the little girl opened her satchel and pulled out three more definitions.
"Sure I suppose you could help me." Penelope stashed the definitions in her satchel and continued into the village.
Shortly upon coming into the village, Penelope and the little girl (Whose name is Rose) stopped in front of the magician's store.
"You know," Penelope thought out loud. "I've never seen the magician. I bet he could help us find the last two definitions!" Penelope opened the creaky door and stepped inside the mysterious store.
Rose seemed lenient, but eventually trailed after the princess.

The little old lady at the counter greeted the girls with a smile.
"What brings you here today ladies?" She asked handing them each a lollypop.
Penelope handed her back. "We need to see the magician." She looked around, half expecting the man to pop out of nowhere.
"Look no further." The old lady twirled her hands and suddenly became a magical sorcerer.
"I assume you're looking for the rest of the definitions."
"Yes. Do you have any idea where they are?"
The little old-young woman walked behind her counter and pulled out the second to last definition, and a book.
"Here is that definition." She handed it to the princess. "And this," She gestured to the book. "Is a spellbook that will protect the definitions much more than that silly book you used to use."
"thank you!" The princess took the book. She tried to open it, but it wouldn't budge.
"Use your voice." The lady told her.
"open." The book cover swung open and revealed hundreds of pages.

Public Domain- A time when the copyright doesn’t exist for a piece of work. It may have expired or don’t apply to that piece of work.

As they left, both girls expressed their thanks by giving the sorcerer some gold.
"Goodbye!" Rose and Penelope called
"Farewell ladies!" The sorcerer said as she transformed back into the little old lady from the candy shop.
Now they only needed one definition. But where could it be?
Just then they heard shouting from the castle grounds. Both of them sprinted in that direction.
