Dear diary,

Hi. I'm Skyler and I don't like diaries the only reason I'm writing this is that my dad gave it to me before going back to the army. I don't really like the idea of telling everything to a book. he also gave me a camera saying I could take pictures and put them in this book. I don't really trust you enough so bye.

Dear diary,

the only reason I'm telling you this is because if I told my mom she would kill me my dad's in the army right now and I'm the only child. So at school, there is this kid who is super cute I have a crush on him. (his name is Pat)  And he asked me to meet him behind the school and he told me he liked me. I told him I liked him back and we kissed! (on the lips)

today is Saturday. Also, I forgot to tell you I'm in high school. today I went to Pat's house we were talking and stuff before I was going to leave he asked me out on a date tomorrow!

I'm so happy right now! The date went great we went to this nice restaurant plus my mom didn't find out. Shh, don't tell her. I do trust you more so I guess  I'll show you a picture. Remember, don't tell anyone about this.
