
1. Offense
In Football there are two sides. Offense is the side that attempts to score points for their team. The orange team is the offense.

2. Defense
The defense is the other side of football that tries to stop the offense from scoring. The white team is the defense.

3. Touchdown
A Touchdown is where the offense successfully transports the football into the end-zone. Touchdowns are worth six points. The defense is trying to stop the offense from getting into the end-zone.

4. Field Goal
If the offense cannot get into the end-zone, then they can kick a field goal through the uprights at the end of the end-zone. This is worth three points.

5. Safety
When the defense tackles the offense in their own end-zone it is called a safety. Two points are given to the team on defense in this situation.

6. Kickoff
When a offense scores, that team has to then kick the ball to the other team. This is called a kickoff.
