This book tells a story that made me realize how important teachers are to students and that taking your time to help students when they need help could help them so much more than you know. This experience meant a lot to me and why I chose to become a teacher so I could give someone the same experience someday.

One regular day in 10th grade I was sitting in my algebra class reviewing for a test we were having the next day.

I knew this was going to be a hard test because I didn't know most of the things that were going to be on there and didn't know how to work the problems out. I decided the best thing for me to do would be to ask my teacher for help.

"Mrs. Long, will you help me with my review? I don't understand anything that is going to be on the test and I don't want to make a bad grade."

"Of course I will help you that's what I am here to do!"

Thankfully, my teacher said she would help me understand the problems more to be better prepared for the test.

Mrs. Long spent almost half of the class helping me understand the information I needed to know for the test the next day in order to get a good grade.

"Yes ma'am! Thank you!"

" Does everything make more sense now?"

It was now time for bed and I started feeling like I was losing all of the information that Mrs. Long had taught me at school. I hoped that I didn't forget it all before the test tomorrow.
