
Who is Gloria Estefan?


Gloria Estefan is a Cuban-American singer who was born in Cuba and later moved to Miami in 1961 when Communist dictator Fidel Castro rose to power. She had a tough childhood because she had to take care of her father, an army who got diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and her younger sister. Her mom worked as a teacher in Cuba. She has to take care of such responsibilities at such a young age. She turned to music as a release.
