A long time ago there lived a huge frog named Tiddalick. He was the largest frog in the world.

One morning Tiddalick woke up very hot and very thirsty. He went to the billabong for a drink

Tiddalick drank and drank until all the water in the billabong was gone!

The other animals arrived at the billabong and when they saw all the water was gone, it made them very sad.

Tiddalick must have drunk all the water! They thought and thought about what to do. Eventually, they realised they would have to make Tiddalick laugh.

The first animal to try to make him laugh was the echidna. She rolled herself into a ball and rolled down the billabong bank.

Next, the wombat stood on his hind legs and danced around until he fell. The galah and gonna laughed but Tiddalick didn't.

The kookaburra told her funniest story that even she laughed at her own jokes. But Tiddalick just sat there with his belly full of water.
