WHAT IS A GOOD MANNERS?
The treatment of other people with courtesy and politeness, and showing correct public behaviour. In most countries, it is considered to be good manners to offer your seat to an elderly person on crowded public transport.
If you practice good manners, you are showing those around you that you are considerate to their feelings and also respect them. You are also setting standards for other's behavior and encouraging them to treat you with similar respect.
Examples:
1.Greet Everyone Who Calls or Comes Home
Whether that’s your child’s friend, your friends, your parents or grandparents, always teach your child to stand and greet when someone visits your home and when they leave.
2. Say ‘Please’ and ‘May I’
Educate kids to always ask before they take something from you or someone else by asking ‘May I’. Ask them to be humble by saying ‘Please’.
3.
Say ‘Thank You’
Always tell your child that whenever someone gives you something reciprocate and show gratitude by saying ‘Thank You’.
Treating others the way you would like to be treated is the easiest rule to follow and encourages others to treat you in kind. Even the most polite people in the world can occasionally say the wrong thing or make mistakes, but being kind, considerate, and generous on a daily basis shows true manners.
