Once upon a time in the animal kingdom, the lion called all the animals for an important meeting.” we all know that every year we have a fight to find out who is the strongest of all so go home and prepare for the fight which will hold tomorrow” he said to the other animals. 

So all the animals went home and tortoise decided to join the fight. He told his friends and they discouraged him saying “you know that all the dangerous animals will be there and you won’t stand a chance against them.” but tortise replied “I know that but I will train hard and try my best.” 

His friends mocked him and said “Okay! If you must kill yourself.” So tortoise went and started training for the fight.

The next day was the day of the contest. As lions were the judges, they were not allowed to take part in the competition so the Tiger, Elephant, Hippopotamus, Cheetah, Bear, Kangaroo and Tortoise were the only competitors. The Lion gave a signal and contest began. 

Being a small animal, the tortoise was highly underrated by the bigger animals. “Let us save him for the last for he is a sure win” the elephant said to the others and they agreed having in mind that whoever got to face the tortoise would surely win. 

As time went on, some of the animals were eliminated and it was remaining tiger, elephant, hippopotamus and tortoise. The Elephant and hippopotamus met together and said to themselves “let us work together and eliminate tiger for he may give us a tough time in the last round.”
