melting 

polar ice 

caps?

The melting polar ice caps 

are sheets of ice that polar 

bears and penguins live on, 

they are melting. Which are 

impacting our planet a lot.

Why are they melting?

They are melting 

because of global 

warming. 

Global warming is caused by 

cars, airplanes trucks and 

other transportation 

vehicles.

What do the melting polar 

caps have anything to do 

with you right? We don't 

live in Antarctica. How 

can this effect us?

The melting ice caps effect 

all of us. By them melting 

it raises sea levels giving 

us less land to live upon. 

Less vegetation choices, 

and can soon take up most 

of our land.

It also causes a huge population 

decrease of polar bears and penguins 

with them having no where to live 

they either get eaten by other species 

or drown.
