For Mr. Nickens and our U.S. History Class

Not too long ago, Loe Riden was elected as the 48th president of the United States of America. The people of America absolutely LOVED him! He had won with an unanimous vote!

Let's make America awesome again!!!

But President Loe Riden did not like the Constitution. He wanted to get rid of the Constitution and make some new laws.
"I'm definitely going to get rid of the Constitution. It's like 233 years old, so obviously it's way too old and outdated. I won't even have to try to convince Congress and the people about my decision, because they love me and they will agree to everything I say."

Tomorrow morning (not today because I'm way too tired to do it now) I will throw you into my fireplace and get rid of you once and for all! Mwahahahahahahaha!!!
As Loe Riden predicted, Congress and the people had agreed to the extermination of the Constitution (Because they loved Riden and agreed to everything he said). Loe Riden was getting ready for bed.
President Loe Riden had gone to bed, and the last thing he saw that night was the U.S. Constitution....

Loe Riden, I am the U.S constitution, and now I'm going to be teaching you why you should keep me rather than getting rid of me.
What?! Where am I?!

Me and my Seven Principles will be teaching you about ourselves and how we are important.
You can try and teach me whatever you want, but you won't be able to change my decision about getting rid of you!

What?! How did I get here?! Wh-wh-where did the Constitution go?! Wh-what?! Who are you?!
Hello Mr. President! I am the principle FEDERALISM! You need me because I share the nation's power between the state and the national governments. This helps keep the power separated fairly between the two different types of governments!

FEDERALISM

This principle is actually okay, but I'm still not convinced! And I will never be!

Hey, where did Federalism go?! And who are you?

LIMITED POWER
Hey, pay attention Mr. President! I am the principle LIMITED POWER, and I limit the amount of power the government gets. You can call me the regulator. I am important because I let the people have some power and I don't let the government have too much power.

Well this principle makes sense, but I remain unconvinced!

What?! Limited Power just disappeared like Federalism! And you just appeared out of nowhere like Limited Power did when Federalism disappeared!

Howdy Mr. President! I'm INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS. I give the people their basic rights. An example of me is the Bill of Rights. Some rights I give are freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and many more.
INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS

Hmmm... that's not that bad... But still, my decision stays the same!

Are y'all just going to keep switching principles on me the entire time?!

Yep! We will keep switching every time. Hey, I'm POPULAR SOVEREIGNTY, and the reason why you have supporters is because of me. I give the right for the people to vote for their representatives and change the nation. I basically give the people of our nation power. Long story short, you should be thanking me!
POPULAR SOVEREIGNTY

This principle is not that bad. To be honest, I'm kind of thankful for it. But I'm not thanking anyone, especially you. Y'all are not convincing me anytime soon!

I've already met a bunch of principles. You got to be the last one!

Sorry, but I am not the last one, but I do help with your election stake next term. Hello, I am REPUBLICANISM and I send representatives to vote on the people's behalf.
REPUBLICANISM

Wow, this principle is actually good! LOE! SNAP OUT OF IT! QUIT GIVING COMPLIMENTS TO IT!
