this journey would not have been possible without you.

Hi, my name is William Cosby Jr and I would like to take you on journey with me about my brain cancer and how I survived and the amazing things I went through . to now be able to share with you THAT anything is POSSIBLE. I was born to my mom Aja Cavitt and my dad William Cosby Sr on June 14 2007. As a child I WAS, normal doing everyday basic things. But on this particular day I was at school and I developed a headache and wasn't feeling well.
So I ask my teacher to call my
mother and she was at work so,
instead the school called my
granny.

However, by the time my granny arrived to the school, I had a seizure and no one KNEW what was wrong. My granny wasn't sure what was going on EITHER SO, we waited for my mom and when my mom arrived she took one look at me and rushed me over to st. louis children's hospital to get checked out. during the wait time my journey took me through different movies and games. whilr back in the exam room, I was asked A MULTITUDE of questions
and i was askED some of the
same questions over and
over again by different
doctors.

Then everything seem to get serious my mom looked
worried and all i wanted was my aunt lydia, she always seems to make things better. Then my doctor came in and suggested that i go for a mri ( magnetic Resonance Imaging) of my brain, AFTERWARDS my mom to look at the pictures several times to realize that i was seriously sick. The next morning brought more worry my mom discussed with me
that I had Cancer and a tumor
ependymoma on my brain,
In that moment I know my life
would be changed forever.

I thought all day about how this would hurt me but i
never gave up. I was just being positive about my situation and I always know Anything is possible and i'm gong to be okay. After talking to doctors, my mom was informed that the doctors wanted to perform surgery in two weeks, so we went home and i went right back to being a normal kid
and then I realized this is so hard
to be so sick with cancer. Because
earlier my mom had sat down with
me and explained why I was having
headache and forgetting things.
This was Big!

I knew my mom was worried just by the look on her face, all while trying to keep me calm and deal with my horrible situation we were facing and not know what the future had for me, her, and my family. I've always thought I could do anything and not knowing what to do to make my mom feel better just bombed me out! Hearing the word cancer you stop and think about your life , no matter
what age you are. The two weeks
went by so quickly, while waiting a
friend of my mom s made me a
quilt that made me so happy and
proud of myself

Family & friends gave me the inspiration to ''kick cancers butt''. I was kinda nervous when it was time for surgery, we checked in and I went straight to my room. the nurses start coming in doing the routine, they hooked me up to the blood pressure machine and then the time for the Iv. After the IV about 30 minutes later, the nurse came back and gave me some medicine and it put me to sleep,
I woke up and surgery
was over and I was feeling much
better. The doctors and nurses
came to check to see if my surgery
went as planned and it did.
