Start of The Sons Of Liberty
The year is 1765, a tavern located in Boston. Group's by the names of "Loyal Nine" and the "Boston Caucus Club" decide that they should form a larger organization to fight against Britain's acts and laws. The organization's name will be "The Sons of Liberty". This organization consists of men in the colonies from all works that want to revolt against the British. They would later participate in events like protesting against the stamp act and the Boston Tea Party.
Fast forward to the day of November 28, 1773, A ship from the British named Dartmouth arrives in the Boston harbor. The taxes from this ship had to be paid before December 17th. This meant action had to be done before then. The second ship named Elanor arrived December 2nd and the third ship named the Beaver arrived December 7th. All these ships were carrying tea from Britain. This made the Americans mad, they had to do something about it.
The colonists were not happy with this, so they had a meeting of about 5,000 people in the Old South Meetinghouse on November 29th, 1773. There the leaders of the Sons of Liberty guided Americans on what they will do to stop the taxing of Tea in America. These meetings would be going on until the last one on December 16th.
Now, its the early morning of December 16th, 1773 after talking against the tea taxes for weeks, the Sons of Liberty were still going. This time around they were on their final planning for the Boston Tea Party. Thousands of people at the Old South Meetinghouse gathered to plan and discuss.
Samuel Adams was the leader of this group, he stood at the podium and yelled "No taxation without representation!" Everyone cheered out loud when they heard this simple, but impactful phrase. This was a great start to the last meeting.

Samuel Adams then shared. " We need a disguise so we will be dressing up as Mohawk Indians." They needed this disguise to be undercover in case they got caught and as a symbol towards America. "These outfits we will be wearing will not only be a disguise, but they will show that we are a part of America now, we are not to be ruled by the British anymore." Samuel Adams said.
The Governer asked a British leader by the name of Rotch to leave the harbor without unloading any tea. The British did not let them. This would be the last confirmation they needed to make a final decision.
