Chapter 1
The World has been covered with water. The moon draws closer every day. The mad scientist, Bolzun, who has made a lab under the sea, has caused this. On this particular night, president Poltan was having a meeting. They were discussing how to stop Bolzun from crashing the moon into the Earth. Poltan’s son, Hashon, was directly outside the room. He was just going into his dormitory when he heard the talking. He had been waiting for this meeting for weeks. He pressed his ear against the door and listened patiently.
“Bolzun has advanced technology so we should too.”
“He’ll know we’re there before we even have time to prepare! I say we launch an assault.”
“Nonsense! His machines are more than a match to ours!"
This quarrel went on and on. Hashon was starting to get tired. As he left for his Dormitory, He heard a few more sentences;”It is decided. We shall use a submarine built for stealth and discover his defences. We shall launch it tomorrow in the morning at six.” Hashon quickly slammed the door to his dormitory as his father and some other men came out. He lay down in his nic, comfy bed and thought about what tomorrow would bring. He would go with them, he thought, but they would say he was just a kid. I shall find a way, he thought, and drifted off to sleep.
Chapter 2
The next day, Hashon woke up early and looked out the window at the home he would be leaving behind. The many airships bobbed up and down in the air, and inside were all the people. He tiptoed as quietly past his friends, who were still sleeping. He exited the dormitory and walked along the dim corridor, lit by the first light of morning. Soon he saw his father coming out of his room. He dashed into another hall to avoid being spotted. He followed the men secretly until they led him right to the submarine. He was in front of them, and could tell which direction they were going.
He found the submarine quickly and darted inside it just as his father came around the corner. He looked for a place to hide. He found a closet and rushed inside. His father got in the submarine along with the other men from last night’s meeting. The Submarine was lowered into the ocean. Hashon opened the closet and took one last look at all the airships, the place where everyone lived now, because of Bolvun, But he would be stopped. As the Submarine descended into the murky depths of the ocean, Hashon couldn’t shake off the feeling that he’d made the wrong choice as he shut the closet, and thought about what lay ahead.
Chapter 3
As the submarine descended into the murky depths of the ocean, Hashon slowly drifted off to sleep. He was woken by voices, exclaiming about something Hashon couldn’t see. It was, the multicolored fish, swimming around the submarine. Soon came an octopus, and nearly all the sea creatures were swimming around this curious thing that had entered their home. They hadn’t seen humans down here for a long time, much less their machines. Of course, Hashon couldn’t see this phenomenon in a closet, and he couldn’t reveal himself, either. So he stood in the closet, wondering what could possibly excite these men.
As hours passed, Hashon was starting to get bored. So once all the men were sleeping, He went into the storage room and hid behind some boxes. Soon, he fell asleep. The next day, he snuck some food from the boxes before the men came in. The next week went the same way until one day an alarm sounded.
“Bolzun knows we’re here!” a panicked voice sounded.
“Everyone, prepare yourselves! ”Poltan’s voice echoed throughout the rooms. Hashon looked out the window and saw the sea creatures fleeing from: themselves? Hashon squinted and could make out the shape of a swarm of robotic animals racing toward them.
Chapter 4
The robotic sharks, fish, whales, and other unnameable animals scraped at the submarine, which retaliated with missiles that exploded the machines. Poltan steered the submarine out of the way of the rampage of robots while still firing missiles at the robotic creatures, but more came, and up ahead they saw Bolzun’s lab. It was a masterwork of towering spirals, almost like a castle. There was a metallic wall around it, and on the towers there were windows, traces of machines etched on every corner, and submarines of pitch dark black.
But there was no time to worry about that now, the metallic creatures were still chasing them. But Hashon had a plan. He imitated a man’s voice and said,”Go over the walls!” His father heard and asked why. But he already knew the answer. As the submarine sped over the walls as nearly half of the creatures bumped into it. The rest followed as they dashed around the spirals,
more bumping into them each minute. Soon all the creatures were gone, only pieces remained on the ocean floor.
Suddenly, the submarine was jerked upward, Bolzun’s lab flew off the ocean floor. But that wasn’t his lab. His real lab was under it, a rocket of incredible size. Soon everything was being pulled upward slowly, very slowly. The moon’s gravitational pull was pulling them to the surface! The submarine sped up to the surface and everyone looked at the moon. It looked twice as big as it did before they descended. Bolzun’s rocket was right behind them. It started to ascend into space, boosted by the moon’s gravity. The Airships slowly floated upward, and something moved underwater. A big chunk of earth flew off the ocean. The continents were rising! But that didn’t matter now, as the submarine was pulled upward by ropes, Bolzun was flying higher. Every second he got closer and closer to space. He had a plan. A wicked, catastrophic plan.
