To my classmates and headteacher Melody :-)

First of all, I would like to start with my favorite part of Christmas- food. In general, I am interested in healthy food, but there are certain traditions associated with the holidays.
Linzer Cookies:
Mix all the ingredients together to form a nice soft ball. Let the dough rest overnight in the fridge.
Roll out the dough and cut out half for the bottoms and half with holes for the top. bake on parchment at 180 C (350 F) for about 5 – 6 minutes. Set them aside and let them cool before spreading strawberry jam in-between and placing them together.

Gingerbread:
1 teaspoon of cinamon
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 egg
2 teaspoon of lemon juice

Bake the gingerbread in a preheated oven.
Immediately after removing from the oven, rub the gingerbread with beaten egg and let it cool down over one month.

Now I would like to share my recipe of pumpkin gingerbread
I have to say - this is my love and addiction :-)
If you like pumpkin and cinamon, you will love it.
Pumpkin gingerbread:

160 ml of water
4 eggs
2 teaspoons of salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 tablespoons pumpkin spice
walnuts
I poured the finished dough into the prepared mold and baked it in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for 1 hour. Try baking on a stick.
And that was my 3 most favourite recepies :-)
I highly recommend to try them.
Now, I may say something about my Christmas. Always a wonderful end of the year. I love the smell of candies, mulled wine and I really enjoy time with my family. I know, it sounds like a cliché. But it is the truth. Although the epidemiological situation, which did not allow me to spend this beautiful time as every year, I may have enjoyed it more.

The reason is, that I spent the holiday with my boyfriend's parents (his name is Roman) for the first time. They are also a family to me. However I love spending time with my family members of course. Every year I was sorry I wasn't with Roman on Christmas Day. So it was a special holiday.
In the morning that day, the 24th December, my boyfriend
and I had our favorite Christmas breakfast - classic czech
“Linz cookies “ and cocoa with marshmallow. I also had the
pumpkin gingerbread :-D. I know it is not the most healthy
food, but sometimes a "cheat day" doesn't hurt :-). We sat
on the sofa, turned the TV and watched the film Alone at
Home and Grinch. We enjoyed the atmosphere.
