Long ago, a giant sea monster known as the Guba-Guba monster rose out of the sea. It was said that the Guba-Guba's body stretched halfway around the world. That its one eye was as red as fire. That its breath was poison to all living things.
Every day it moved closer to Greenland.

The king of Greenland asked the sorcerer for help. “You must give your precious daughter, Princess Rohini, to the Guba-Guba,” said the sorcerer. “Only then will it leave."
The king went pale. Princess Rohini was kind, gentle, and loved by everyone. He had another daughter as well. Her name was Princess Anyawell. She was the opposite of Rohini and was very bratty. “Is that the only way to save my people? What about Anyawell?” the king asked.
“It is the only way,” the sorcerer said. "and what a horrid father you are, willing to give away one of your daughters for the other one.
The king felt ashamed, but he couldn't give up yet. He couldn't lose his precious daughter!

The king sent a message to all of Greenland: The man who killed the horrid monster, would marry the beautiful Princess Rohini, and become the successor of his kingdom. Not many stepped up, because they knew they would have to handle Anyawell too. However, later, they decided to join.

However, whenever they saw the monster they ran away. The king was utterly disappointed. He locked himself in a room, sad that he had to give away his gentle daughter. Grief was known throughout the kingdom.

On the day before the princess would be offered to the monster, a shepard went to the seashore. His name was Roan.
All his life Roan wanted to be a great hero to all, not only a few.
He was determined to defeat the Guba-Guba and save Princess Rohini.

Roan borrowed a small boat. He loaded a bucket of burning coals into it and rowed toward the monster.

At dawn, the monster awoke. It slowly opened its giant jaws in a yawn. A great flood of water rushed into its open mouth.
The boat and Roan were swept in. Roan was carried down the Guba-Guba's throat.
