Our aim in the project is to research the numerous web 2 studies and activities on the platforms for distance education, which has come into our lives during this epidemic and will always be a part of it, and to bring together the best ones for education, to organize educational webinars first in our country and then around the world, to ensure that all our colleagues take an active role in the use of tools, to renew ourselves professionally with technology, by including our students in activities that we can use web 2 tools and to create effective learning environments with web 2 tools and to raise the awareness that education can take place outside of school.

What have we done in our project?
In the first phase of our project, which consists of 2 stages, our teacher members conducted research with web 2 tools.
In order to create more effective learning environments, they shared the web 2 tools they researched with other teachers in the project by organizing a webinar.
Our students, on the other hand, organized activities on any subject with their own peer groups with the web 2 tools suitable for them under the guidance of their teachers.
In this way, they could learn about web 2 tools.

We aim to make web 2 tools more common among teachers and students,and in the education ,of course.I and my two students ,as our school team, have great time in the project and with other partners


we discover newer applications in the education. In the first step , I had webinars with my colleagues. On the other hand, my students tried to learn their web 2 tools and did some works


While I attended training webinars with my colleagues, my students tried to learn the web 2 tools they chose.
With these tools, they made some studies suitable for the school curriculum.
They also followed the works of other students on our project's twinspace.

The SCRATCH program is a graphic programming language in which we can create our own animations, computer games or tell and share interactive stories, where we can combine various media tools such as pictures, sound music in a fun environment.

The STORYJUMPER is an application where students at different levels from preschool to higher education can create digital story books individually or in groups

Distance education is the education that students or trainees receive without getting close from their homes or other places through an application.
If we are teachers, we can create an explanatory presentation for our students or send them a test or assignment. If we are student, we can make presentations from web 2 tools or make our posters, or assignments.we can create games and animations
PowerPoint, canva, zoom, kahoot, quizizz, logomaker and similar applications.
yes, of course it can be adapted to distance education. But I think other web 2 tools are more easily can be adapted for distance learning.


what is distance education?
distance education is a state-of-the-art education system that has been applied in advanced developed countries for years and uses the latest measurement and evaluation methods.
How can we use web 2 tools in distance learning?
There are many alternative virtual classroom applications that you can use in this period when we cannot meet with your students in physical classroom environments. You can send course contents to your students in the classes you will create with these virtual classroom applications, and follow your students by doing repeat exams (quizzes).
Which web 2 tools can be used for distance learning?
You can follow your students in Virtual Classroom Applications quizzes. These web 2.0 tools are; Fun Quiz and Survey Tools
There are many exam web 2.0 tools that you can use in the distance education process and you can apply if you announce the time and date information to your students.

Hi,
I am an English teacher, Zeynep Güneş. I live in Ankara and I work at PAIHL. I have been teaching English for about 13 years. I have joined "New Generation Teachers" eTwinning project with my two students from 9th grades. At the beginning of the project we tried a lot of web 2.00 tools and selected 4 of them for ourselves. So, we have gotten many ideas about various web 2.00 tools at the very beginning of the project process. I decided to study deeply on "Kahoot!" and "BigHugeLabs", and my students decided to study deeply on "MiMind" and "Postermaker". However, we have not studied only with those tools, but we also studied with the other project partners tools, and also with many other tools not studied in the project.











As I have told at the previous page we have studied various web 2.00 tools and then we have studied deeply on our chosen tools in the first month of the project process. In the second month every teacher in the project made presentations of their 2 tools on different days as events on "etwinning platform". And after the presentations every teacher tried his/her friend's tool at the same time. There are 12 teachers in the project. So during 24 days in December.2020. We had our meetings every day. We have learned a lot of informations from our project partners, and have witnessed a lot of experiences of them about web 2.00 tools in this period. After that, each teacher in the project has given presentations to his/her collegues at his/her school and to his/her students about his/her web 2.00 tools. Hello everyone from young to old!My name is Şengül YAVUZ.I'm an english teacher and I'm very proud of being the participant of this project.In this project I worked with two web tools quzizizz and chatterpix but also I learned different types of web tools from my project friends.I have two students working with me Zeynep Rabia G.and Hilal D.thanks everyone for their contribution.
Quizziz is an online assessment tool that allows to teachers and students to create and use one another’s quizzes. After providing students with a unique access code, a quiz can be presented live as a timed competition or used for homework with a specific deadline
.
ChatterPix is an app that converts pictures of inanimate objects into pictures that talk! All you do is snap a picture, draw a line to make it talk, and record your voice! ChatterPix can be used to make silly greetings, playful messages, and creative cards.

I would love to intrudece us to you. We are Hilal and Zeynep who live in Turkey, in a city called Eskişehir. We joined this program to expand our knowledge on using more web 2 tools. We learned the basics on building websites, making videos and quizes. I believe these tools are going to be a huge part of our lives in the future. This program has brought as more confidence by making it easier for us to share our ideas in a different way to a larger audience. We've bonded with people around the globe thanks to eTWINNIG. We are always thrilled to learn and are looking forward to upcoming projects.

In the second phase of our project:
As teachers, we organized webinars with our angelstones outside the project and conveyed our experiences with web tools within the scope of dissemination. We introduced our project and made our dissemination works by sharing news on different platforms.
Our students, on the other hand, did not work with their peer groups this time, but together with the other students in the project, on the two topics determined.
