“I don’t want to move to Canada,” Shelldon the turtle told his mother very upset at the thought of it.
“I know you don't want to go but we are leaving next week, so go pack your bags.” Shelldon’s mother order him as he walked to his room.

Shelldon walked to his room very upset as if his world was about to end. He thought about how hard it was going to be to make new friends and and what it was going to be like in the winter time in Canada.

A week went by and it was finally time for Shelldon and his family to go on their big adventure to Canada. Shelldon got more and more nervous every second they got closer to Canada.

Shortly after they arrived, they went to their new house to unpack everything they took with them. Shelldon’s mother spent most of her time trying to get him out of the house so he could go look around and meet some new friends. However, Shelldon refused to leave the house because he was way to nervous and he thought it was way to cold out.

“Shelldon you are going to have to go outside at some point to make new friends.” Shelldon’s mother said to him starting to get very annoyed.
“I am just going to stay in my room the whole time we are here,” he replied with a very angry tone in his voice.

Later that night, he couldn’t help not think that maybe he could make new friends if he just went outside to meet people. He stayed up most of that night just thinking about whether he should go outside the next day or not.

The next day Shelldon woke up knowing what he was going to do that day. He was going to go out into the cold and see if he could make some new friends. Shelldon put on all of his warmest clothes and headed out the door. He was amazed by the dancing snow in the air because he had never seen snow before.

But before he could even get out the door his mother stopped him and asked where he was going.
“I’m going for a walk to make new friends, hopefully,” Shelldon responded cheerfully.

Shelldon walk for a bit until he came to an outdoor rink that many fluffy bears that were playing hockey. He thought the bears looked nice and they were around his age as well. So, he decide to go over and ask to play.

“Hey, can I play with you guys?” Shelldon asked very nervously.
The bears were very hesitant on letting Shelldon play with them because he was a turtle and turtles don’t normally play hockey. But they ended up letting Shelldon play just so they could have a good laugh.
