My dad plays a huge role in my life. He is a father of two young, athletic boys and has two dogs. He is a humble, strong, hard-working man who doesn’t get tired of taking me to soccer practices and never misses one of my soccer games.

My family loves watching and playing sports. My dad works long hours at work and has to be home so he can take me to soccer practice on time. He also wakes up early to drive me to my travel soccer games that could be up to an hour and a half away. He never gives up and never fails or disappoints me.
One night, after a busy day at work, my dad had a problem. He had to get my brother to a baseball tournament tomorrow and had never missed one of my soccer games, for which there was a game tomorrow as well. When I heard about the possibility of him missing one of my games, I didn’t want to play anymore. My parents made me play anyway.

My brother's tournament started at 4, and my game started at 11. My dad took my brother because he is an assistant coach on his travel baseball team, and my mom took me to my soccer game. It was close was a close game, but his team made it to the second round, but sadly my brother lost his tournament, so they started to drive back home.
My game was in the second half. We were down by one with only a few minutes to play. It's an intense game and the stakes are high. Whoever wins is first place in the league. I have a lot of pressure on me because I’m playing goalie, and out of nowhere, my dad and brother show up and the pressure loosens. I smile because I never thought my dad would make it to my game.
