One day Alaa was at home with her brother and sister in the garden outside their house.  Suddenly they heard some thunder and lightning so they quickly ran back inside. 

Alaa and her brother Yousif and her little sister Ruqqaya decided to sit by the fireplace and wait for the rain to finish.  They played with their toys and laughed together.

When the rain stopped the three kids ran outside together and saw that the sky had a huge rainbow in it!  Alaa said to her brother and sister "Look at that!"  Her little sister Ruqqaya was jumping up and down because she had never seen a rainbow before.  

Ruqqaya was shouting No Rain, No Rainbows! Alaa said to her brother "She's right! If we don't have rain we won't have beautiful rainbows!"  After this day the kids never felt sad when there was rain.
