Once upon a time, there was a simple and beautiful girl named Cinderella. She lived with her evil stepmother and two stepsisters. They don't like Cinderella and made her do all the household work.

One day, a letter from the king came to their house which said that the king is having a ball tonight and his son 'The Prince' would be choosing a wife.

Everyone got so excited. Cinderella really wanted to go to the ball, but her stepmother and stepsisters refused and asked Cinderella to help them dressed. At last, she was left at home disappointed.

She was so sad that she ran to the garden and cried. "What happened to you, my dear?" said a voice. That was a voice from a little woman with a wand and kind smile stood in front of her. She was Cinderella's fairy godmother.

Cinderella told everything about her life, and what her stepmother and stepsisters did. The fairy godmother then help Cinderella to go to the ball. With a wave of her wand, she gave her a beautiful gown, glass slippers, and shiny horse-drawn carriage to reach the ball.

Before Cinderella leaving, the fairy godmother said "This magic will only last until midnight! You must reach back home by then!"
