Chapter 1- Away from Home
You know when you have that feeling that something bad is going to happen? Well, something did, and it all started when I was a show cat aka a flat face cat exotic beauty. My name is Kiss and my short career as a show cat ended because of COVID. My owners had to make the difficult decision of selling all of us, even my mom and dad. It was horrible!

The day finally arrived: it was my turn to find a new family. I still remember it was like yesterday. It was a hot summer day, and a family of four showed up to my owners backyard. Oh, boy, I was not a happy camper. Why me? I love my owners! Well, I was wrong. I'll always remember a young blond haired girl (my new best friend) having a huge smile on her face. It felt so right and I couldn't wait to get to my new house.

When I finally got there, it was okay until I got to the little girls bedroom. It was horrible. There was pink everywhere and toys galore. When they opened the cage I quickly ran under the bed and poked my head out. Hanging on the wall I saw 5 big letters: A-B-B-E-Y. I figured that must be the name of the little girl. That day they left me all alone. I didn't know were they went, but they were gone for 3 hours! I was so scared. I just wanted to go back to my real home.

When they finally came back, Abbey came to her room, got in her PJ's, and went to bed. I was tired too after my eventful day. So I jumped up on the bed and had my first sleepover with Abbey.

The next day I woke up, then Abbey woke up and she took me to her mom and dad's room. She wanted to tell them something, about my name, which apparently Abbey didn't like. She loved the name Clementine. Apparently my fur colour reminded them of a fruit. I'll never understand.

After a month, I was finally used to being with my new family and home. They really loved me, but Abbey loved me even more, and my feelings were the same. We would sleep together, go outside together and play together. I can't say playing was fun...She has quite the imagination...sometimes there were days where she dressed me up with doll clothes, including putting on underwear and socks! Ugh

Chapter 2- A Loving Home
I love my home so much. My new family makes me feel like I'm the best cat in the world. I woke up one day and Abbey told me it was my birthday! Abbey made me feel so special, even more special than she usually does! I was not expecting all these things that people are doing for me.

Abbey's friends, Josh and Lily, always come over to see me. Oh, I guess I should mention that Josh and Lily are in a bubble with us so they come over a lot! Their cat, Oliver, doesn't really like to be held. I feel bad for them. They know I don't mind cuddles, so I let them cuddle me as much as they want.

So back to my birthday. I loved it. Abbey made me a present and for desert she even made me a fish cake with my own food. It was so delicious! Finally the day was over and my birthday was no more. Abbey was asleep and I was sleeping on her stomach. Everything was perfect and just the way I liked it.

It soon was midnight. I woke up and jumped off Abbey's bed and started meowing until someone opened the door. Then I heard footsteps. Her mom opened the door and I dashed downstairs and into the kitchen and sat right next to my bowl just waiting until someone come and feed me.
This was my routine when I woke up. Finally it was 7:00 a.m. and Abbey woke up. I noticed that she had a routine as well. She sat on the couch and watched TV so I sat on Abbey's lap and experienced the things that she watched. Some were gross but most were funny! After TV I jumped off Abbey and went for a nap.

When I was sleeping, I heard a knock on the door but I just ignored it and went back to sleep. Then Abbey came downstairs. When she opened, the door there was a package. I woke up because I was curious about what was in the package.

So I jumped off the coach and walked to the box but Abbey took it up to her room and closed the door on me. I was so sad that she would not let me in. So, I waited and waited. When she finally came out, I said to myself 'It's about time!'. Then I went in her room to see what she got and it was a fish tank! .I was I was so happy because if she gets a fish I can eat it. 'Yes!' I said to myself 'Yes!'

I was so prepared that night. I was dreaming of what the fish would look like and how it would taste. I was so happy. The next day Abbey woke up got dressed and brushed her teeth. Then she went with her dad to buy the fish. I waited for 15 minutes and finally she was home with the fish. I heard Abbey say she was going to name the fish Bella.

That's when I froze. She has another pet! I thought I was Abbey's pet. Abbey's only pet. Now I hated Bella and when Abbey left her room I was ready to kill! I jumped up on her dresser and put my mouth up to the tank and got my jaws ready. But then I froze and did not eat the fish. I just looked at it and I knew that if I ate Abbey's fish she would kill me so I told myself 'Don't eat the fish Clementine. Don't eat the fish!' So I didn't. I just sat there.

Chapter 3- The Surgery
One day I felt weird. Like really weird. Then I puked. I sat there, just looking at it. Then Abbey's mom came in. Not Abbey because she was at her Grandma and Poppa's for a visit. They FaceTimed to see how I was. In the background Abbey was crying. She gave the phone to her grandma and left to go to the washroom. Instead of going to the washroom she just cried.
