This is Noah. Noah is not like the other 8 year old's. He asks himself the same question every day when he walks to and from school. “What am I here for?”

As he walked on the sidewalk every day, he thought and thought real hard, but he still couldn’t find an answer. 

He thought and thought and thought.

Then, he had an idea. When he got to school, he could ask his friends what they thought.

But his friends said “I don’t know. I don’t really care enough to think about it anyways.”

Noah was confused. Why wouldn't his friends care about such an important question? He asked the teacher. He thought that because adults are always correct, maybe he would get the answer.

The teacher said, “Be happy and follow your dreams.” To Noah, that did sound like an answer, but he didn’t know what his dreams were.

Noah then thought that maybe he could ask his parents. He thought that because his parents know him very well, maybe he would get the answer.

His Mom said, "You are alive for a purpose. You decide how you can make an impact.” Noah’s Mom’s words made a spark in his brain. He realized that he wanted to make an impact.

Noah still thought long and hard about what he was here for. He knew that he wanted to make an impact, but he didn’t know how he wanted to make an impact. He knew that right now, he couldn’t make a big impact on the whole world. After all, he was just 8 years old.
