What are the names of the Easter days?

Good Friday,Easter Saturday,Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.

In Poland on Good Friday a lot of people don't eat meat.

On Easter Saturday we put some Easter food into baskets and we take it to church.

On Easter Sunday we share eggs and have big breakfast with the whole family.

What are the symbols 

   of Easter?

Eggs are the symbols of new life.

The lamb and the cross symbolise Christ.

In Great Britain people traditionally eat hot cross buns on Good Friday.Each bun has a cross on top to remind people of Christ.

What about the flowers?

The first spring flowers are crocuses,tulips and daffodils.

We often decorate our homes with them .

What do the children in England get on Easter Sunday?

On Easter Sunday people give each other chocolate eggs.Children in England get big chocolate eggs filled with sweets. 

They also play a lot of games like egg rolling or egg hunting. Parents hide small chocolate eggs in the garden.Children find them and put them in small baskets. Small children think they are from the Easter Bunny!
