"It's going to be a great day, it's going to be an adventurous day, it's going to be a fabulous day." His little body was all filled up with excitement and enthusiasm. "This is not going to be a 1 flip or a 2 flip but a 3 flip day." With a smile from ear to ear, springing from his bed, he did just that. 1 flip than 2 flips and a very high 3rd flip. Chip Chipmunk was excited to say the least. Tiny and small in stature, but big and large in enthusiasm. Chip is a happy and courageous full of life chipmunk. He is very eager and everything he does is at full energy. You see on this very day, Chip and his best buddy in the whole world, Bit Rabbit, are going on an all day adventure to Babbling Brook. They will meet up with many of their friends along the way, and they will visit various places throughout the day. So, let's wait no longer and hear about their day.

"Goodbye Mom, goodbye Dad I am off to see Bit for my fun-filled day," said Chip. Climbing up and darting out of his burrow, Chip just had to once again, do not just 1 flip or 2 flips but 3 flips again.
Standing just outside his burrow hole, Chip would take a deep breathe and fill his lungs with the wonderful air of Wibbly Woods. Wibbly Woods was the most fabulous woods of all. Filled up with all kinds of majestic trees, beautiful and delightfully smelling flowers, and of course wonderful living creatures of all kinds. Wibbly Woods was an energetic place, always busy, with all of its inhabitants hustling throughout their day. Some might be gathering food, and others mending to their homes, and of course many were just enjoying their day. But above all else, Wibbly Woods was a most peaceful place. It was a place that all the families were united as one family. A place that all the inhabitants could call home.
Chip had a fun and unique way of going to Bit's burrow. You see it was a rather long and steep slope down towards Bit's burrow. Chip had collected and stacked a great quantity of large oak leaves at the top of the Ridgeline. He would use these leaves the same way as a child would use a sled in the snow. Chip would sit on a large oak leaf and with a thrust of his tiny arms he would slide all the way down to Bit's burrow. It was quite a ride, very fast, Chip's cheeks and mouth would flap from the wind as he raced down the wooded slope at ever- increasing speeds. And then towards the end of the slope, he had built up a mound of dirt as a ramp, that would catapult him right to the entrance of Bit's burrow. While catapulted up in the air from the ramp, Chip would yell out, "Bit here I come." Diverging headfirst into Bit's burrow, with all kinds of excitement, Chip would shout out "Bit are you ready, are you ready my friend?" "Oh yes I am, replied Bit, I most certainly am."
Bit Rabbit has big floppy ears and two big feet. A tiny pink nose and two buck teeth. With his powerful back legs, which are usually tapping, he can nearly touch the sky, with his super high hopping. He's very kind and soft-spoken and most of the time quite timid. But for now he's going to be brave on this fabulous day.

Echoing from a dimly lit room in the back of the burrow, uttered the words. "Now boys I want you to protect each other and look out for each other while you're out on your journey," said Rusty. Rusty is Bit's father. He was a hard-working ruff and tough rabbit, a no-nonsense character. Many times you could find him reclining and relaxing in the burrow. "Now go inside and kiss your momma goodbye," said Rusty. "Okay, love you dad," replied Bit. "See you later mister Rusty," said Chip.
Towards the middle of the burrow you could nearly always find Rosie, Bit's mom. It seems like Rosie was busy all day long. She would be prepping and making all kinds of meals, and tending to all other sorts of burrow duties. She had her hands full with Bit's two younger siblings, Charlie his brother and Marley his sister. Those two were non-stop energy all day. Bouncing and pouncing and jumping all throughout the day.
With his little arms wrapped around and hugging her leg. "Hello Mrs. Rosie, isn't it a fabulous day?" said Chip. "Oh yes it is little Chip, oh yes it is." replied Rosie.
"Now Bit come on over here and give your momma a kiss goodbye," she said. As Bit stretched up high and Rosie crouched down low, they kissed each other by rubbing nose to nose. With a soft whisper Bit would say, "I love you Momma and will miss you today. " Whispering back and rubbing his nose, Rosie would say. "Oh Bit my Bit you bring me such joy, I too will miss you, your forever my boy."

So, out of Bit's burrow the two of them would go, off on their journey to Babbling Brook. "Hey bit it's time to sing our song," said Chip. You see Chip and Bit had a best friends song. Have you ever sung this song, and can you sing it now? Twinkle, twinkle, little star, how I wonder what you are. Up above the world so high, like a diamond in the sky. Twinkle, twinkle, little star, how I wonder what you are.
Well, in the same tune as twinkle twinkle, why don't you sing along with Chip and Bit on their best friends song. "Jumping, hopping, we are friends, best of buddies till the end. You're my pal I call you Chip, you're my pal I call you Bit. Jumping, hopping, we are friends, best of buddies till the end." The two of them loved singing this song together, and they would do so all the way two Tremendous Tree.

They knew they were almost at Tremendous Tree because they reached Giant Mushroom Field. Giant Mushroom Field was filled with all kinds of mushrooms. There were large mushrooms, there were small mushrooms. There were white mushrooms, there were brown mushrooms. There was even spotted mushrooms. Bit could not go any further without tasting all these fabulous mushrooms. You see mushrooms where some of the tastiest things that Bit liked to eat. You know what was good about Giant Mushroom Field, it was right next to Acorn Valley.

Chip's eyes got big and his belly started rumbling, acorns, acorns everywhere. Chip couldn't seem to eat those acorns fast enough. Acorns were by far Chip's favorite food, he would eat many each day. Now with his belly all full, Chip scampered his way back to Giant Mushroom Field. With a mouth full of acorns Chip tried to say, "hay mit id u ave a ot ov ushrums." Bit just giggled, "I can't understand you Chip with those acorns stored in your mouth." Spitting the acorns out of his mouth from laughter. "I was saying, hey Bit did you have a lot of mushrooms," replied Chip. Both bellies full, the two of them would exit Giant Mushroom Field and be present at Tremendous Tree.

Tremendous Tree was located towards the center of Wibbly Woods. It was a grand tree that reached high up to the heavens. Many of Wibbly Woods inhabitants lived in and around Tremendous Tree. It is here that Chip and Bit will meet up with three of their friends.
"Baxter, hey Baxter, where are you?" Chip and Bit called out. "Oh Bella and Sadie, come on down, we are here," they shouted.

They could hear him coming, pouncing and rumbling from behind Tremendous Tree. Baxter Bear a jolly bear, clumsy but powerful. His fur is so thick yet soft as a pillow. "My friends I am so glad to see you," said Baxter. Chip and Bit new that the infamous Baxter Bear hug was approaching. Running up toward the two of them with his arms held wide, Baxter was on them before they could brace themselves. Hugging and squeezing them against his thick, soft and now sticky fur. You see Baxter Bear loved honey, and he had just finished enjoying a bunch of it. It did not matter to Chip and Bit, sticky or not, there was nothing like a big Baxter Bear hug.
