This story is dedicated to my friend Syro and his dog Runny. 

There was once a small pup named Runny. Runny loved the water, and there just happened to be a large swimming pool right outside of her home.

She enjoyed going outside and walking next to the pool daily. Runny often wished that she could go swimming, but she was too small. 

Oh me, oh my, if I only I could swim... I wouldn't want to cry.

I always get told...

You're too small to swim, Runny.

The pool is too deep, Runny.

"You'll see me," Runny thought, "You'll see me swim."

Runny dreamed of jumping into the pool. She thought about jumping into the pool and hearing a large "BOOM" after she jumped in. 

After a long day of day-dreaming, Runny went inside for a nap... and even then, she started to dream of swimming in the pool. 

Z..

     Z...

          Z...

Runny was dreaming about jumping, splashing, and having a great time.

Realization soon struck. 

How would runny make it to the pool?

"How will I make it to the pool without being noticed?" Runny thought. "Maybe if I snuck out early, I could swim!"

Runny thought hesitantly about that idea, what if something bad were to happen?

Runny knows what Syro told her...
