One weekend I went with my family to the countryside to see my cousins and their puppies.

We woke up early this morning and we went on the road. Along the way I looked at the trees, the green fields and the birds.

Arriving at my aunt and uncle's house, I ran to hug my older cousin and kiss my little cousin.

My big cousin goes to show me the little puppies and we start playing with them. The mother of the puppies was watching us not to hurt them.

Auntie calls us to her and we find out she threw us a surprise party. My cousin and I were born in the same month but on different years.

The house and yard were decorated with balloons and confessions.

The kids started coming to the party and because it's sunny, we go out to the yard to run, play and eat.

While we were playing, my father and uncle were preparing a barbecue full of burgers and chicken steak. Mom and aunt prepared our meal and called us to eat.

After dinner we stayed inside the house and continued the party, we decided to play Twister until the cakes came.

The time of the cake came, there were two very beautiful cakes.

Mine was the number 8, because I'm only 8 years old and my cousin had the number 10.

We competed who blows out the candles faster.

We had a great time.

The other kids went home, and my cousins and I kept playing with the puppies.

I thanked my aunt for the party and told her it was a great surprise to be able to celebrate my birthday with my cousin's.

Time passed very quickly, and then we had to go home.
