My mom and I do so much together!

She makes me the best food. Our favorites are tacos, spaghetti, and ice cream!  

She dances with me.

She makes me laugh.

She makes me feel better.

One day my mom had to go to the doctors because she started to forget things like...

"Did I eat this morning?"

"How do I get to your school again?"

"Where are my keys!?"

My Mom was really sad.

I was sad too.

I missed my old mom.

When my mom went to the doctors, the doctor did not have good news for her.

She was so scared to tell me the news. She did not know how i was going to take it.

She told me she had a disease called Alzheimers.  

I knew this meant my mom would soon begin to forget a lot. 

I knew she would soon forget me.

I had an idea one day.

I knew I had to cheer her up. 

I start to make the best food.

I dance with her.
