Jane Austin was born on December 16 1775, in the village of Stevenson in Hampshire. In 1789 Jane began writing her first book. In 1801 she and her family moved to Bath. Her father really supported her and her writing and when he died in 1805 she moved to a town near Winchester where she continued writing and pressuring her dream. There she had a big beautiful house, gardens and servants to do the housework just like Emma had. Her family loved parties and dances and Jane also played the piano. Jane wrote many known stories and she was one of England's greatest writers, some of them were Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, Mansfield Park, Emma. Jane became ill died at the age of 42 in Winchester. After her death two more books came out Northanger Abbey, and Persuasion.
The plot of the story:
The book Emma talks about Emma Woodhouse. A beautiful, clever as well as rich young lady. She lives with her father in a big house in the village of Highbury 16 miles from London. The story starts with the announcement of the engagement of Miss Taylor, Emma's former teacher and friend and Emma thinks that's a result of her great matchmaking skills so she decides to continue and mach make her friends and neighbors. Sometimes this decision causes more problems than love stories. Emma is so focused on others and their happiness that she might miss her own love story.
