Kidd's Chest

There once was a famous pirate named 

Captain William Kidd.

He had a valuable treasure of gold and jewels that he wanted to hide.

Kidd knew where there was a special secret island that nobody else knew about. 

He sailed there one day to hide his treasure where nobody would ever find it.

Captain Kidd rowed ashore on his island 

with his treasure chest.

He drew a map with a big 'X' on it so that he could return to get his chest one day.

Kidd dug a big hole in a secluded spot in the middle of the jungle.

He lowered the treasure chest into the hole and covered it with dirt.

Captain Kidd was happy that his treasure was safe. 

He knew that no treasure hunter would ever be able to find it.
