It was getting kind of late and

Clara was ready for bed.

She remembered her broken night light

and this is what she said.  "Mom, we need                   to buy a new night light!"

"It's too late today, honey.

You better think of something soon.

It's quickly getting darker, so

get some fireflies to light your room".  

Clara went to the kitchen

and grabbed a jar.

She went outside

and didn't have to go far.

She found 5 fireflies and 

thought "this is enough!

Without any light 

the night would be rough".

1 x 5 = 5

"Oh me, oh my,

I need more!"

So there Clara went, 

back out the door.

She found 5 more fireflies 

and thought "This is enough! Without any light 

the night would be rough"!

2 x 5 = 10

"Oh me, oh my,

I need more"!
