On April 15, 1990 a star was born and her name was Emma Watson.  Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born on April 15, 1990 in Paris, France. Her parents Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson were both British Lawyers. In 1995, Emma's parents divorced when she was only five years old.  After her parents divorced she moved back to England.

She went to school at the Dragon school in Oxford and Stagecoach theatre school in Oxford, England. In 2014, she graduated from Brown's University. In 2009, She modeled for Burberry's Autumn and Winter campaign. She auditioned for the role of Hermione Granger at age 9 and got it. The  Harry Potter film series was her first professional acting job. After, Harry Potter her career took off!

She  donated a million dollars and started "HeforShe" a program for gender equality. She also traveled to Bangladesh and Zambia to promote education for girls. In 2014, She was appointed as a UN Goodwill Women's Ambassador. "Being asked to be a UN Women's Ambassador is truly humbling"said Emma.

 She overcame obstacles and struggles like her parents divorce and shedding her harry potter days by a pixie style hair cut.
