Kahoot! is a learning-based, interactive game for students. You can also do quizzes, discussions, and surveys on Kahoot! The questions pop up on a screen and the students answer using their own technology (computer, phone, tablet). It is a great way to get students engaged in learning, and is a lot more interesting to most students. It also provides a score screen so that the students can see who is winning. This creates a friendly competition and helps the students really dive in. It can also be used as a fun study tool, I personally have done this for almost all of my classes. The "kahoots" are multiple choice and the choices come up on the students screens as shapes. So for example, if the answer that was in the green circle is correct, the student would click the green circle on their screen. Kahoot is a fun and friendly. game and students always enjoy playing it in class!
