Hi, I'm Anna! My birthday is tomorrow, and I am so excited. I have been counting down the days all week!

I love birthdays. Who doesn't want to celebrate with their friends and eat cake?

While walking to school, all Anna thought about was her birthday celebrations. 

Her friends had talked with her all week about what cupcakes they would bring and everything they had planned. 

When Anna arrived at school, everything was normal. She did not see any birthday decorations. 

How could they forget about my birthday, they're my best friends.

Anna waited all day for her friends to wish her a happy birthday, but they never did.

Anna walked home from school by herself. She felt sad that her friends forgot her birthday.
