It was march 13th and Lilli's school had just shut down. She would not be going to school for 2 more weeks.  When she got to school she found the teacher sitting at her desk crying about the covid-19 restictions. Lilli asked "what's wrong miss tanner? The teacher responded saying " nothing it is just today is the last day of school for a long time. 

There will not be school for a couple of weeks pack your things and head to the bus.

So Lilli and her friends packed their bags and headed to the bus stop. All of them were so sad that they could not eat their gram crackers, or grapes. 

As soon as Lilli got home she went upstairs and laid down on her bed. Her puppy, Oreo came up and laid down in her bed. Soon her mom came up and asked her what was wrong. Lilli explained how she would not get to go to school or see her friends for a long time.

At dinner Lilli was so sad she could not eat her food. And it was her favorite. Pretzel dogs. Her dad asked if she was ok. She told him everything that happened. Lilli's sister Amanda said the same thing about her school. Now everyone was sad. 

Later Lilli was helping her mom put the twins to bed. Isabelle, and Isaac. They were talking about how Lilli could call her friends and talk to them on the phone. This made Lilli happy.

As Lilli fell asleep she thought about how different the weeks would be. She dreamed about zoom calls and homework.
