Hi. I am Reese. I just got back from a bike ride. I am so out of breath! I wonder why! I am going to go home. See you there!

Reese just got home. She was tired and she wanted to know why she was out of breath, so she looked up "why do i get out of breath?"

When she clicked on the website called " The Riddle of the Respiratory System." It asked the question "what helps you breath, but also gets you out of breath?"  Reese did not know!

Then the website came up with a answer. It said " I am your lungs! I am a big part of your respiratory system!"

Reese read that she could see how her respiratory system works by running up and down the stairs. In no time she was out of breath. So she decided to sit down and read more about her respiratory system.

She learned there is more that just the lungs in the respiratory system. There is the mouth and nose that breathes in oxygen. The windpipe which takes the air down to the lungs like a slide. And the lungs which takes the air and spreads it throughout the body!

Cell's are the little things in your body that make up everything. They make up your organs and more! 

It was Friday night and Reese sat down to watch a movie. She turned on the T.V and the movie that came up was a movie about your body systems! It was talking about cell's and what they make up, and do.

Thanks to that one bike ride I now know what my respiratory system is like! It is the system that helps me breathe. It helps me live and it is all because of my cells!
