There once was a beautiful princess named Rosanne

Everyone in the kingdom loved her, and they would stop and stare as she walked by.

She knew her way around a sword, and would frequently dual with kingdom residents.

However, Rosanne had absolutely no interest in being a princess. She wanted to go out and explore the world.

One day, she expressed her wishes towards voyaging out of the kingdom, much to her father's dismay.

I must do something... I cannot let my daughter go off. She needs to stay in the kingdom!

He told his wife, Queen Penelope, who agreed that something had to be done.

We cannot have Rosanne go out and exploring. She is a princess for God's sake! She must stay at home and try and find a nice prince.

They began asking around, and quickly Queen Penelope found a witch, who claimed that she that could help.

I can provide you with something to help with your daughter's disobedience.

For there was a metal from the Earth by the name of Thallium that the witch said was created by mother nature to rid of rodents and ringworms. This is what thallium was most often used for.

Thus, Queen Penelope obtained this metal, and ordered the maid to break up the thallium and begin putting it in their daughter's food.

They wanted to make her sick, so that she couldn't go voyaging, so under the witch's orders, they gave her small amounts.

Rosanne soon fell ill; throwing up, nauseous, with intense stomach pain. She had never felt so awful in her life.

Everything changed when a neighboring kingdom's princess, Princess Dorothy, came to negotiate a treaty between the two realms.

King Jeoffrey joyfully let her into the castle. Desperate to further his reach and power.

When giving the tour of the castle, Princess Dorothy noticed a room that the King had ignored, so she wandered inside.
