What is Personalized Learning

Personalized learning is an educational approach that benefits learners by customizing their learning experience. The students strengths, needs and interests are created through the implementation of personalized learning. 

Benefits of personalized learning 

This form of learning is a teaching model that will look different through a variety of perspectives depending upon the school district. 

Accommodations are made to support learning strategies and it enhances the development of learners

All students have the opportunity to become engaged and confident with their learning style, experience and development . 

Personalized learning can be embedded into various forms of curriculum to benefit the wants and needs of all learners. 

With personalized learning the facilitator is not expected to lead all students through the same lesson or at the same developmental pace. 

This form of learning is intended to meet the strengths of all learners. 

With the implementation of personalized learning the content is not orchestrated through a "one size fits all" approach. The learning development is dynamic and unique in comparison to a snowflake.
