Deep in the jungle, there was a mean snake and a clever mongoose.

The snake desperately wanted to eat the mongoose, but it was always too clever and this made the snake very angry.

One day the snake came upon the mongoose stuck in a human trap

" Oh mongoose, you cannot escape me now! I can't wait to eat you!" the snake said 

"Oh, poor snake." the mongoose replied, " How pathetic is it to have to wait till I am trapped to catch me. You are so very weak!"

the snake became enraged, "I am not weak how dare you say so!" The mongoose replies, " If you are so sure, let me out of the trap and we can see if you can catch me on equal footing"

The snake quickly slithered to let the mongoose from the trap, he was excited to finally catch the mongoose and prove his worth

However as soon as the snake let the mongoose free, it ran into the tree tops and quickly escaped the snake!
