It was another beautiful day in Spring and the clocks were striking seven. As usual, Yunus Emre woke up early and made preparations for school. He left home and walked in the excitement of learning the new project in their school. Literature was his favourite lesson and he was in love with poems. He loved all of his teachers but Mr. Karataş was special for him.
In the first lesson"It is time to announce our new project." said Mr. Karataş. "We will be working on values and Democracy". Yunus Emre really liked this new theme and volunteered to join the project.

Yunus Emre was more excited than ever. Because he wanted to learn social values and democracy in detail. This was a great opportunity for him. Mr. Karatas explained the project stages. He would teach about Democracy and Social Values in the first phase of the project. With the information learned in later stages, they would do theaters, instructional videos and similar things. After talking about a few details about the project, Mr. Karatas gave his students permission to go out to the garden as the lesson was nearly over.
Yunus Emre went out to the garden. He looked at the Mevlana tomb right across. Mevlana was the representative of his favorite value, tolerance. That's why he was thinking of using Rumi in the Theater he was thinking of doing. Meanwhile, his lesson was about to begin. He went to his class before the lesson started.

Yunus Emre was prepared for the second lesson. Mr. Karataş would simply explain the Term Democracy and its history in this lesson.
Mr Karataş said that democracy is a form of government in which political control is directly in the hands of representatives freely elected by the people, and all citizens are considered equal regardless of their social and economic status. He said that democracy was first practiced in Ancient Greece, but only indigenous men were allowed to vote. He said that one of the greatest developments of democracy was made by the Magna Carta contract in the Middle Ages, but still a large part of the society is still unable to vote. He said that democracy flourished in the seventeenth, eighteenth, nineteenth and twentieth centuries and is today the most loved and widespread system of governance in the world. After Mr. Karataş mentioned a few more events, the lesson was over.

Yunus Emre had not communicated with any of his friends today and went directly to his home because he was too focused on the project and was tired. When he got home, he washed his hands, ate, did his homework, brushed his teeth and went to bed. He fell asleep while repeating what he learned today in his mind. He had a lot more to learn and to do. And while doing these, he was unaware of the events he would experience.

The next day Yunus Emre woke up early, got ready to go to school and went to school. He went to school, the first lesson was almost starting, Yunus Emre quickly entered his class. At that time Mr Karataş came to the class and told them he wanted to talk a little bit about democracy.Yunus Emre was delighted to hear this because he wanted to learn about democracy.Mr Karataş said first of all democracy is not just about voting. He said in addition to voting, democracy includes equality, active participation, the obligation to comply with law and many other concepts.Hearing this, Yunus Emre was very suprised and continued to listen carefully to his teacher.

Mr Karataş told them he wanted to organize some activities to get to know democracy better and asked his students to present their ideas on this issues.Yunus Emre raised his finger and said about Mevlana, which is the best example of tolarence.Mr Karataş liked this idea very much and asked his student to the research on Mevlana.Yunus Emre who loves Mevlana very much and wanted to learn more about him, started to search for Mevlana with great enthusiasm when he returned home

While Yunus Emre was researching, he became acquainted with Mevlana’s works, his birthplace and many of his features.Especially how tolerant Mevlana was towards people affected Yunus Emre a lot. Rumi was an advocate for peace, love, endurance level, happiness. For Mevlânâ tolerance was important. Rumi said that: “Come, come, whoever you are. Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving. It doesn't matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair. come, even if you have broken your vows a thousand times. Come, yet again , come , come...”As in democratic participation, regardless of religion, language, race or gender, everyone is equal. The thought that we should be tolerant without any superiority to anyone was exciting to Yunus Emre. All shools should prepare and present boards decorated with quotes such as these. This could help to teach people democratic participartion ard tolerance. With these boards , schools could encourage democratic participartion. By spreading democracy in education they could create democratic schools.Yunus Emre’s research would continue in the future.

Yunus Emre made his presentation in the classroom the next day and then told his teacher that he wanted to make a project called more democratic schools, which he had thought of before. Mr. Karataş also liked this idea and said that he would think about what they could do ...Wouldn't everything be better if everyone knew the meaning of democracy and lived accordingly? For example, a person who can empathize will not bully another.YunusEmre was very tired that day.
He quickly came home, changed his clothes and laid down on the bed. After some sleep, he took a cup of tea from the kitchen and sat down on the sofa in the garden . While Yunus Emre was thinking what he could do at the scool , he was also thinking about the quote

from Mevlana that he liked. “Come, come, whoever you are. Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving. It doesn't matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair. come, even if you have broken your vows a thousand times. Come, yet again , come , come...”This phrase embraced many things.for example he wouldn't discriminate anyone based on their language, etc. Mr.Karatas mentioned that.Democracy: equality, freedom, empathy etc. includes many concepts of tolerance, one of them.Yunus Emre immediately set off with the idea that came to his mind and went to the Mevlana Tomb.He thought that at the mausoleum of tolerance, good ideas would come to him.

Yunus Emre arrived at the Mevlana tomb and started to tour the tomb. Yunus Emre, who becomes emotional with the words and mesnevi of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi in the tomb which smells of tolerance, hears the voice of the call to prayer and goes to the Masjid Salam to worship. Yunus Emre who was very tired and fell asleep while praying, sees himself as a dervish living in the time of Mevlana his dream. The first thing Yunus Emre sees in the whirling dervishes. The whirling dervishes right hand pointing towards the sky and their left hand pointing towards the ground draws attention and asks a dervish what it means. Dervish '' The right hand takes from God, and the left hand gives to the people.'' Yunus Emre

thanked the dervish and left where he was and continues to visit the madrasa. While visiting the madrasa, he witnessed the speech of Mevlana and 2 men.
Two people were fighting on the road. One of them says
'' I am such a person that if you say one word to me, you will hear a thousand words.''
Hearing this word Mevlana, right next to them going to that man;
'' Whatever you say to me! I'm such a man to me, you can't hear a word if you say a thousand words.
Being proud to be able to say a thousand words after this word. The man could not say a single word. Then they recpected Hz. Rumi and made peace.

After this incident, Yunus Emre follows Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi and listens to advice he gave to scholars.
Mevlana's; In generosity and helping, be like a stream.
Be like the sun as in tenderness and mercy. Be like the night in covering other flaws. In anger and irritability, be like dead. In humility be like the earth. In tolerance be like the sea. Either appear as you are or be as you look.
He hears his advice and contines to listen.
Yunus Emre, who wakes up from the dream, sees it is evening and runs home. Yunus Emre, who is very impressed by his dream, begins to investigate and realizes how tolerant and understanding Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi is.

Understands how the people of those times lived together in a fair and democratic way, despite the differences.
In the morning, Yunus Emre goes to schoolwith excitement and he tells Mr. Karataş . It ensures that we can set up a group and we make a theather play, and after each whirling dervish has finished their return, we can say the 7 advice and words Mevlana, explain the whirling dervish and finish the play after a short Mesnevi conversation. Mr. Karataş likes this idea and they get to work.

Mr. Karataş and Yunus Emre got to work for the play without losing time. Yunus Emre began to read and analyze the works of Mevlana for the script and title in the library of the school.
Mr.Karataş and Yunus Emre wrote the script in the school library and it was time to put the title. Yunus Emre suggested "Let it be a tolerant world" and Mr.Karataş liked this name. It was get to work. They needed some more students for the theatre. So they announced it and the volunteers joined their team.

While Mr. Karataş was setting up the works such as poster and stage, Yunus Emre was more interested in Mevlana's Mesnevi and continued to read it. When Yunus Emre arrived home in the evening, he told about everything to his family and his father suggested to make a corner of Mevlana and tolerance in his room. Yunus Emre loved this idea very much.

Preparations were progressing very quickly. Yunus Emre was very pleased with his father's suggestion and while thinking about this, he thought of making such a corner at school. Yunus Emre fell asleep while dreaming about this. In the morning, Yunus Emre was quickly going to school. As soon as he came to school, his first job was to call Mr. Karataş. Mr.Karataş was in the library. He was reading a book on the Masnavi. When Yunus realized that Emir had come to him, he put the book on the table and greeted Yunus Emre. Yunus Emre greeted the teacher and said, "My teacher, my father made a great suggestion to me.
