"Clouds are the sky’s imagination."
-Terri Guillemets

A funny thing started happening one day. Without warning random children starting floating up into the sky. They would disappear into the clouds for several hours before being safely returned home. When they landed on the ground they had no idea where they had been or what they had seen.

Nobody could explain this bizarre phenomena. And why was it just kids that would were being elevated to play amongst the clouds? Why not adults, animals, or inanimate objects like houses or cars? While many parents fretted about their children disappearing into the sky, most of the kids on Earth couldn’t wait to be chosen.

Every child that was lucky enough to float up into the sky would return in such a joyful mood. What magical secrets were being kept hidden high up in the sky? The journey to the clouds was an amazing experience. It filled every child’s tummy with butterflies. The feeling was indescribable. Some kids said it felt like they were being pushed super high on a giant imaginary swing set.

Soon children from across the globe would gather in public places hoping to be lifted up into the big blue sky. Those who were left behind would stomp their feet and pout in disappointment. Scientists were at a loss to explain why any of this was happening. Was there a rational, scientific explanation for what was going on? Or perhaps this was something that defied all logic. Maybe it was some kind of supernatural occurrence or could there be aliens involved somehow?

So who was behind all of these weird and wonderful events? It turns out that it was a pair of funky alien twins named Arthur and Marcus. They were known as ‘The Star Children’, a strange pair of gigantic aliens with wild manes of curly hair. Although their size was quite imposing, the twins were actually a couple of harmless goofballs who liked to have fun.

The twins were originally from a tiny planet called Kulegantu in a far-off galaxy. Unfortunately for them the twins were the only kids on their planet. To make matters worse, the twins had to accompany their parents whenever they would visit other planets. It was so boring as they were the only kids there. There was nothing to do and no toys or games to enjoy.

The Star Children desperately wanted other children to play with. But after searching the galaxy they were disappointed to learn that all the other planets only had grownups. Then one day the twins decided to try Googling for something known as ‘humans.’ They had heard rumours that they shared the universe with another species.

One Sunday afternoon while their parents were playing cards with some Wookies, the twins decided to sneak out to find new friends on Earth. The pair activated their twin powers and were transported to another the solar system. With their super powered vision they were able to watch kids from around the world playing and laughing. At last the twins had found some new friends!
