Lizards are cold blooded animals,that means that they are reptiles.They have spiny, smooth or scaly skin. The skin is covered with all kinds of colours. Chameleons can change the colour of their skin to camoflauge because
their DNA and blood has a special type of chemical that allows them to change the colour of their skin

Brown Anole, Green Anole and Blue Anole Lizard males have big red dewlaps that are under the neck of the lizard. The dewlap is a red, orange and yellow flap of skin that can be pulled in and out from their necks to be displayed
to attract females or scare off predators. Brown Anoles, Green Anoles and blue anole Lizards will do push-ups to get other animals or lizards out off their terittory.
