Tradicional Food of the afro-Panamanians
On the table there are sweaty fish or baked chicken, octopus stewed, Dona Mara's favorite, rice with coconut, they also serve rice with beans and pork tail, rondón a soup with coconut milk, vegetables and fried fish, among other dishes with Caribbean seasoning. They are the main elements of Afro-Panamanian food.

Traditions of the Afro-Panamanians
The Congo dance or game, with its rhythmic drum and its intense dances and performances, has great historical value within the Afro-Panamanian culture, especially on the Atlantic coast. The dresses of the Congolese are full of color.

In essence, Panama derives much of it culture and roots to the African decendants, we must appreciate their contribuitions to help build our country. As society, we must respect the heritage we have thanks to their hard work and effort.
