Do the royal task!
The Emperor Qin decreed that if any man wanted to take his daughter's hand in marriage he would have to achieve a royal task. The royal task was to bring his daughter the moon.

The first suitor brought the princess Soong Ching-Ling a beautiful piece of stone and presented it to her as the Moon.
"No! That is not the moon. I will not marry you!" She pushed the gift away.
The second prospective husband brought the princess a painted picture of the moon with a black starry background.
"No! That is not the moon. I will not marry you!" She pushed the gift away.

Bolin presented the Princess with a glass bowl full of clear water. The princess studied the bowl and noticed a reflection of the Blood Moon.
"You have brought me the moon! You have accomplished the royal task. I will marry you!"
