

Hello, my name is Emariyaa but everyone calls me Mari. I am 7 years old and I love to play softball and I love to dance. Today I want to show you 5 ways to stay active and have fun while doing it.









One way I stay active and fit is by turning some music on and dancing all over my room. This keeps me moving and it not a bad way to pass the time.




My second tip is to take long walks. My mother and sister and I go for long walks through my neighborhood. Everyone waves to us as we walk by. This way mom and I are both staying active. The reason walking is not only good for the body but helps boost self-esteem.

I think tip number 3 is my Favorite. My mom put me in swimming lessons. I love to swim and I love being in the water. especially when it's really hot out. To me, it's the best way to stay cool. Swimming lessons also keep me safe in the water as well as being good for my body.
Fun tip: swimming makes your muscles very strong and is also great for the body. I hope one day I can be like Olympic medalist Simone Manuel.







Tip number 4 is softball. This fun game keeps me active and teaches me teamwork. Sometimes it better to work with someone than alone. I love to get with all of my friends for practice and learn new plays. Softball is also a family thing my mom played I play and I hope my younger sister will too.









I love my mom because she took the time out to sign me up for activities such as softball and swimming lessons. She even takes the time out of her day to take my sister and me on walks. She does everything in her power to keep me active and moving. Mom only allows a certain amount of TV time so these are the things I do to pass the time.

Tip number 5 is just playing outdoors with friends. I love to play outdoors with friends. We play games like freeze tag and hide and go seek. We go on adventures to a lot of different places all over the world. The best way to stay fit is to be active. You cant be fit sitting in front of the TV and eating junk. So come on friends let's get up and get active.














So what I took from this book is staying active is a great way to keep my body healthy and in shape. Also, that swimming lessons help builds muscles and promotes great health, and keeps me safe in the water. Walking helps build my self-esteem and makes me feel proud of myself. Being on the softball team is also a way to stay active and each my teamwork. Lastly hanging outdoors with friends keeps me moving and helps me with social skills. It was fun sharing with your friends enjoy.
