
CODE OF ETHICS
The code of ethics is about educators' interactions with children and their families in an early childhood environment.
The code of ethics contains Core Values and the professional duties in four sections of different professional relationships with ideals (goals of the educator) and principles (resolutions to ethical problems).


CORE VALUES


Standards of ethical behavior: Promise to follow these core values:
* Understand that childhood is one of a kind and significant period of life.
* Create lesson plans around the student's abilities and learning styles.
* Be respectful and encouraging to the relationship between a child and their family ((NAEYC, 2011).

* Acknowledge that you have to know where they come from (culture, community, and society) to comprehend the children.
* Each person is an individual.
* Embrace cultural differences.
* Establish trust and respect to get their best self and work (NAEYC, 2011).


ETHICAL RESPONSIBILITIES TO CHILDREN
* Early childhood settings are secure, harmless, developmental, and engaging.
* Dedicated to growth and education.
* Acknowledging cultural and learning style differences.
* Promoting physical activity and teamwork.
* Promoting self-confidence, ability to bounce back, talents, and mental health (NAEYC, 2011).
ETHICAL RESPONSIBILITIES TO FAMILIES
* Keeps the family informed in regards to the child's progress.
* Maintaining a healthy, strong relationship with the child's family.
* Have an open invitation to the families for them to participate in the classroom actively.
* Respect and learn the different cultures and the rituals of the families.
* Provide information for outside resources (NAEYC, 2011).
