Once upon a time, there was a little

 girl named Roona. 

She was very friendly and outgoing. Roona

 loved apples.

While nibbling on her favourite apple, her

 big fluffy grey elephant

 reminded her that it was her birthday soon.

"Roona," said the big fluffy elephant.

"It is your birthday soon!"

Roona was not surprised that Elly remembered her

 birthday. Elephants are

 known for their excellent memory.

That is why some people say that 

somebody has a memory like an elephant. 

They mean that the person never forgets

 anything.

"Do you know what your birthday present is?" asked Elly

Roona pondered for a while, wondering what

 she would get for her

 birthday. She even tried to imagine what her party would

 be like.

She loved to spend time with her family and her ever-

growing fluffy

 family of animals. .

She really wanted a baby elephant to

 play with, Elly, her big fluffy grey elephant

Pandy, the panda, was so excited

 about Roona's

 birthday. She also

 wondered what Roona would get for her

 birthday.

“It is only three days until your birthday!”

Pandy exclaimed to Roona.

Pandy turned to Roona to ask,

"What do you want for your birthday, Roona?

Do you have a special wish?"
